I have a lot of things to distract me from my duties as a mom and wife. I try to keep my focus on God first and then on my family but there are always unnecessary things that beg for my attention.
During this season before Easter, I’m getting rid of my distractions and focusing on two things first and foremost. God and my family. I want to grow and learn and glorify God. And I want to prepare my heart for the celebration of His Resurrection. I will be publishing my journey but I won’t be posting anything on social media until after Easter. There are specific things I will be doing and I’ll share everything after this wonderful holiday.
But in the mean time, I’ll be spending the next few weeks focusing on growing closer to God, so I’ll be sharing my heart and my thoughts. Since I won’t be doing my normal blogging and posting, I thought I would share scripture and my thoughts and will publish simple devotions the next few weeks.
Give thanks to the God of Heaven, for His steadfast love endures forever. (Psalm 136:26)
God’s love, kindness, mercy, and faithfulness will never cease because His steadfast love endures forever. No matter what season of life we’re in or what is going on in our lives, we can always trust God to be there for us. His love is constant and steady. My challenge for you is to look for any distractions that are coming between you and God, if any, and put them aside for the next few weeks and focus on spending time with Him. Also spend time this next week giving Him thanks.
Please share your thoughts and your heart on what God is teaching you. Or just write to say hi. I’d love to hear from you.
Have a wonderful and blessed week!
Because of His love,
Please check out my other posts and tell me what you think!
