Amazing Value and Worth

Today I drove my husband to work which usually only takes 5 minutes since we live so close.  But this morning, I got caught right at the beginning of the train so I had to sit for a few minutes doing nothing but wait.  After sitting and waiting for awhile, and the train rails finally went up, I started to drive away and I noticed the radio station playing 80’s music (there was just talking and I wasn’t paying attention apparently).  What on earth am I listening to?  It was on the wrong station and I didn’t even realize it (although 80’s is my second fav).  I changed the station just in time to hear one of my favorite songs by a great artist,

“Live Like You’re Loved” by Hawk Nelson.

What a great song!!

The lyrics stood out to me this morning and greatly encouraged me:

“Live like you know you’re valuable
Like you know the One that holds your soul
Cause Mercy has called you by your name
Don’t be afraid to live in that grace”

Read my blog: Live Loved

This got me thinking about just how valuable we are.  The One and Only Living God who created the Heavens and the Earth, who made you and me, who is Holy, Righteous and Just, loved us so much, that He gave His life and died on the cross for us, taking on the wrath of God for our sins.

W E ~ A R E ~ V A L U A B L E

The bible says for us not to be anxious about anything in our life, what we’ll eat or drink or about what we’ll wear because life is more than food, drink and clothing (which is very important stuff.)

Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more valuable than they? And which of you by being anxious can add a single hour to his span of life? And why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin, yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.  Matthew 6: 26-29

We are precious to God and He loves us very much.

Are not five sparrows sold for two pennies? And not one of them is forgotten before God. Why, even the hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not ~ you are of more value than many sparrows.  Luke 12:6-7

There are many ways we can live confidently for the Lord.  Loving the Lord with all of our hearts will bless and grow our families in unimaginable ways.

As moms, we can impact our families and change many lives.  We are valuable and we don’t have to be afraid to live in God’s grace!

We can:

~ Be generous

~ Be appreciative

~ Be kind

~ Get healthier

~ Stop jealousy

~ Don’t gossip

~ Spend time with our children

~ Honor our husbands

Health and Wellness Tip

Because of our diet, the lack of nutrition in our foods, medications, the toxins in our environment, our lack of exercise and more, our digestive system, and our brains are unhealthy.  This affects our whole body!

Our GUT is EVERYTHING to our health and it’s important to start there first.  There are more than 200 symptoms that are caused from an imbalance in our digestive system.  Gut health ESSENTIAL!

Hunger, cravings and overeating is one of the symptoms that is caused by gut imbalance.  I struggled with this for years because of all the antibiotics I was taking for bladder infections.  If I dieted, I lost some (not all) of my weight temporarily but I was miserable with hunger and cravings.  It’s not a good way to live.  I had a terrible quality of life although I was doing all the right things.  I was missing something.  Something very important!

I discovered the missing link that made all the difference in the world to my health ~ and the hunger, cravings and overeating STOPPED!!

I started taking the TriPlex Combo by Plexus ~ which are three products that work together to balance blood sugars, get rid of toxins, and heal the gut.

The Plexus Slim is a powder that you mix in water that is full of prebiotics, chromium, and other nutrients.  It is perfect for balancing the blood sugar and preventing hunger, cravings and overeating.  It also helps boost the metabolism and helps with energy.

The other two products are capsules.  BioCleanse oxygenates the blood preventing damaging cells from living and detoxifies the digestive system, the kidneys and liver, and the blood stream.  It has magnesium, Vitamin C, and other nutrients.

ProBio5 has powerful probiotics for healthy gut flora, and prebiotics to get rid of the bad bactieria and digestive enzymes that help heal and protect the digestive system.  There isn’t a probiotic like this anywhere ~ AND IT WORKS!

I hope my story helps other people get their health back on track and I hope my blogs are an encouragement to moms and women wanting to~

BLESS THEIR FAMILIES!

This girl is celebrating her 17th birthday today (October 27th)!!  She is beautiful, talented, loving and kind and such a blessing to our family!

What a joy she is and our lives haven’t been the same since she was born.  The is the exact middle with two older siblings and two younger siblings.  She is also the only child whose name doesn’t start with a “J.”  She likes being the only kid without a “J” name.  HaPpY BiRtHdAy ~ Alyssa

Battling Rejection With Boldness

Being rejected by people who are supposed to love you and have your back can be destructive.  It’s hard to overcome the feelings of sadness and loneliness of rejection but there is hope.

Both my husband and I know what it feels like to be rejected by important people in our lives that we love so very much.  But we were able to overcome a lot of hardship through the power of knowing how much God loves us and never leaves us.  It’s not an easy road, nor is it simple, but consistently turning to the Lord, and knowing how deeply He cares for you, will help overcome the feelings of rejection with boldness.

1. Tell Yourself The Truth

What is the truth?  When the righteous cries for help, the LORD hears them and delivers them out of their trouble.  The LORD is near to the broken hearted and rescues the crushed in spirit.

~ You are deeply loved

~ You matter

~ You are confident

~ You are bold

~ You are making a difference

~ If the world hates you, remember that it hated God before it hated you

2.  Seek After God

~ Cast all your anxieties on the LORD for He cares for you.

~ Seek after the Lord, look to Him daily, read and meditate on His word, study and learn about how much He loves you.

~ Delight yourself in the Lord.  Seek Him first.  Memorize God’s Word.

~ Look to the LORD and His strength.

3. Love Others

People are hurting, they’re lonely and they desperately need Jesus.  We are rejected by people who are hurting.  Some people don’t know how to love and accept others.  We need to get our strength from the Lord so we love others around us.

I have had enemies in my life who have tried to destroy me.  They were disguised as friends/family so I didn’t recognize it at first, which has really hurt my self esteem.  I have to be diligent in my walk with God so I don’t believe the lies that were told to me.  Otherwise, I destroy myself and those who need me the most, because of the deceit of others.

We can truly love others and be a blessing by loving the Lord and seeking after Him.  We don’t need to listen to the people who ignore us, reject us, persecute us.  That’s not God’s will.  His will is for no one to perish but for everyone to come to repentance.  Playing games of rejection and hate are not bringing others to Christ.  So shake off that dust and move forward with boldness to reach the world for Christ.

Health and Wellness Tip

Candida is more common than we think.  A good probiotic is so necessary of us all.

Here are 10 common Candida symptoms:
Skin and nail fungal infections (such as Athlete’s foot or toenail fungus)
 Feeling tired and worn down
Digestive issues such as bloating, constipation, or diarrhea
 Autoimmune issues
Difficulty concentrating, poor memory, lack of focus, ADD, ADHD and brain fog
Skin issues such as eczema, hives, and rashes
Irritability, mood swings, anxiety, or depression
Vaginal infections, urinary tract infections, rectal itching or vaginal itching
Severe seasonal allergies or itchy ears
Strong sugar and refined carbohydrate cravings

You are born with Candida yeast (fungus) in very trace amounts, until we disrupt the ecosystem we have in our colon.
So what disrupts the ecosystem?  Antibiotics, birth control pills and steroids are the biggest offenders. Once you take an antibiotic, for example, it kills the bad bacteria, but also kills the good bacteria. So now you have dead bacteria floating around in your colon, and fungus, like Candida, likes to eat dead matter. As the fungus eats the dead bacteria, it grows and continues to fill your colon, taking your immune system hostage.  Since 80% of our immune system is in the colon, this makes perfect sense!  An even more alarming fact is that Candida can perforate your colon, allowing toxins and food particles to leak into your body.  This is called the Leaky Gut Syndrome.  Doctors recommend a good probiotic to combat Leaky Gut Syndrome.

When addressing weight loss, Candida Overgrowth must be controlled ~ a healthy immune system depends on it.  A good probiotic contains beneficial bacteria, along with enzymes, and an anti-fungal.  The enzymes and anti-fungal are extremely important for improving your overall health, because if you aren’t getting rid of Candida, you are likely not noticing much difference from your probiotic.

I have searched and tried many probiotics, yeast killers and digestive enzymes and I finally found a product that has truly made a difference in my health.  Ask me about Plexus TriPlex and I’d love to hear what you think.  I am truly amazed and thankful at how drastically my health turned around after getting on an amazing probiotic that works!

Thank you so much for reading my blog.  Please share your thoughts with me and share how you have overcome hardship in your life.  Thank you for being a blessing!  You are important and you are making a difference.

A Healthy Fruit-Bearing Life

There is a joyful life waiting for those who do not follow the ways of the world but who follow the will of the Lord.  They delight in blessing the Lord, and loving people around them.  They desire to honor the Lord with their lives and they put their family first.

Oh the joys of those who do not follow the advice of the wicked, or stand around with sinners, or join in with scoffers.  But they delight in doing everything the Lord wants, day and night they think about his law.  They are like trees planted along the riverbank bearing fruit each season without fail.  Their leaves never wither.  Psalm 1: 1-2

How can we live a life that bears fruit?

Love

Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your might and with all your mind.  Love your neighbor as yourself.  Luke 10:27

Spend time with God everyday by meditating on His word and spending time in prayer.  Put your family first.

Joy

Be joyful with your family and with the people you see.

~ Smile

~ Compliment

~ Encourage

~ Care

Peace

We have peace from God.  Let the peace of God rule in your hearts.  Seek after peace and seek after God.

Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you.  I do not give to you as the world gives.  Do no let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.  John 14:27

Patience

Be patient and kind with your family and with others.  If you find yourself impatient ~ PRAY!

Take a deep breathe and recite verses to help with patience.

Kindness

Be kind to one another.  Forgive each other just as God has forgiven us.  Teach kindness to your children so they can learn unselfishness.

Goodness

~ Be a good person

~ Be genuine

~ Be confident

~ Be attentive

~ Be thoughtful

~ Compliment others

~ Don’t seek the approval of others

~ Encourage others

Faithfulness

Be faithful in all things, even in the little things.  Your family depends on you to be strong and constant.  You are making a difference.  Keep it up!

Gentleness

Be gentle with others.  Be careful what you say, how you treat others and how you come across to the people in your life.  We are to be an example of Jesus to the world.  He came not to teach everyone a lesson, but to take on the wrath of God for OUR SINS!

Self control

Have self control with your habits, with your emotions and with your behavior.  We are an example to the people in our lives.  They’re watching us!

I know I’m preaching to the choir and you probably have a good handle on these things already.  But I thought I’d write about how we can bear fruit to glorify God in our lives as a reminder to us all.  Not only do we honor the Lord, but we bless the people we love the most.  We are also a testimony of Christ to a very lost world!

Write me and let me know your thoughts!

Also: please let me know what you’d like me to write about.  Do you want to hear about homeschooling, money, organization, health and wellness, marriage, recipes, or more?  Let me know!  I’m running out of ideas!

Health and Wellness Tip

Here are some ideas if you’re a mom who has no energy, needs a nap every day, or has trouble sleeping at night.

~ Exercise (or walk)

~ Eat fruits and vegetables every day

~ Don’t drink your calories and stay away from caffeine

~ Drink plenty of water

~ Take your vitamins and probiotics

~ Try Plexus Slim

I know these things are TOTALLY common sense stuff but how often do we really do these things on a regular basis.  Consider this a friendly reminder.  By the way ~ these reminders are for me too!  When I saw my kidney surgeon at my last appointment, he stressed the importance of everything I mentioned above.  Then he asked me if I was doing these things.  Ummmmmm…. maybe…sometimes?  See what I mean?

Thank you and God bless!

So Long Fear ~ Hello Trust!

When fear gets in our head and grips our heart, it can paralyze us and weaken us.

When this happens we need to get into the habit of immediately looking to the Lord.

Pray often ~ read His word ~ memorize scripture that will specifically help during times of fear and anxiety.

Peace I leave with you ~ MY PEACE I GIVE TO YOU.  I do not give to you as the world gives.  Do not let your hearts be troubled and DO NOT BE AFRAID.  John 14:27

Fear can cause us to doubt and not do what God called us to do.  It can also affect our family.  It’s a weapon from the enemy to distract us from walking with the Lord.  BUT ~ We have tools to overcome our fear.  We have Christ!

Read and meditate on God’s word AND PRAY!

Because of dealing with abuse and loss at a very young age, I have battled fear my whole life.  It can be debilitating and discouraging but I have found victory by consistently trusting in God through those hard times.  I have found success by being aware of my fear and dealing with it head on ~ immediately.

It also helps to talk to someone you trust and to journal all of your hopes and fears in a notebook.  There is power in literally giving it to God.  Write it down!  Talk it out!

It takes work and time but God is always there.  He is strong.  He knows our fears.  HE LOVES US VERY MUCH!

Trust in the Lord with ALL YOUR HEART and do not lean on your own understanding.  In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your path.  Proverbs 3:5-6

Pay attention to when fear overtakes your heart and mind and learn to hand them over to the Lord.

Cast your cares on the LORD and He will sustain you; He will never let the righteous be shaken. Psalm 55:22

Health and Wellness Tip

Our health can affect our mental and emotional state.  So when you eat healthy, drink plenty of water and exercise every day, it helps your physical health and your emotional health too.

I’ve been posting a lot about gut health lately and the importance of having a healthy and balanced gut.

But what does that even mean?

We have good and bad bacteria in our digestive system that is suppose to be in balance.  The good bacteria is there for our health, the bad bacteria is there for decomposition when we die.

When it’s out of balance, it can cause a whole lot of health issues, weight problems, and anxiety.

Gut imbalance can be caused by stress, unhealthy diet, antibiotics and our lifestyle.

Because of our environment, it’s harder than ever to bring our body back into balance.  The days of “just eat a yogurt and it will fix it” are over.  We need a powerful probiotic.  We need BALANCE! #Plexus
