So Long Fear ~ Hello Trust!

When fear gets in our head and grips our heart, it can paralyze us and weaken us.

When this happens we need to get into the habit of immediately looking to the Lord.

Pray often ~ read His word ~ memorize scripture that will specifically help during times of fear and anxiety.

Peace I leave with you ~ MY PEACE I GIVE TO YOU.  I do not give to you as the world gives.  Do not let your hearts be troubled and DO NOT BE AFRAID.  John 14:27

Fear can cause us to doubt and not do what God called us to do.  It can also affect our family.  It’s a weapon from the enemy to distract us from walking with the Lord.  BUT ~ We have tools to overcome our fear.  We have Christ!

Read and meditate on God’s word AND PRAY!

Because of dealing with abuse and loss at a very young age, I have battled fear my whole life.  It can be debilitating and discouraging but I have found victory by consistently trusting in God through those hard times.  I have found success by being aware of my fear and dealing with it head on ~ immediately.

It also helps to talk to someone you trust and to journal all of your hopes and fears in a notebook.  There is power in literally giving it to God.  Write it down!  Talk it out!

It takes work and time but God is always there.  He is strong.  He knows our fears.  HE LOVES US VERY MUCH!

Trust in the Lord with ALL YOUR HEART and do not lean on your own understanding.  In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your path.  Proverbs 3:5-6

Pay attention to when fear overtakes your heart and mind and learn to hand them over to the Lord.

Cast your cares on the LORD and He will sustain you; He will never let the righteous be shaken. Psalm 55:22

Health and Wellness Tip

Our health can affect our mental and emotional state.  So when you eat healthy, drink plenty of water and exercise every day, it helps your physical health and your emotional health too.

I’ve been posting a lot about gut health lately and the importance of having a healthy and balanced gut.

But what does that even mean? 

We have good and bad bacteria in our digestive system that is suppose to be in balance.  The good bacteria is there for our health, the bad bacteria is there for decomposition when we die.

When it’s out of balance, it can cause a whole lot of health issues, weight problems, and anxiety.

Gut imbalance can be caused by stress, unhealthy diet, antibiotics and our lifestyle.

Because of our environment, it’s harder than ever to bring our body back into balance.  The days of “just eat a yogurt and it will fix it” are over.  We need a powerful probiotic.  We need BALANCE! #Plexus
